SHORT FILM FUND

Short Film Fund is a first-of-its-kind programmed in Nepal, designed to develop and produce short film focused on the theme of Education. This is intended to help reflect on the different perspectives on education around Nepal.

WORKSHOP

Workshops will be held throughout the year in different parts of the country focused on the many aspects of filmmaking. All workshops will be organized in association with The Film School.Pame Festival team will produce official video documentation of the workshop

FILM ACTING WORKSHOP 2020

Four-week long film acting workshop in association with Casting Nepal and The Film School.

FILMMAKING WORKSHOP 2020

The filmmaking workshop will be conducted in association with The Film School and will focus on every aspect of filmmaking. Noted film mentors and filmmakers will conduct it.

FILM PROMOTION WORKSHOP 2020

This workshop, made possible in association with Rotten Golvedas, will be mentored by industry professionals who have been working extensively on film promotion.

PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP 2020

This workshop will be conducted in association with Photolaya, with noted photographers working on wildlife, tourism, landscape, portrait, and street, photography.

MASTERCLASS

Masterclasses by industry professionals with extensive experience in their respective fields, will be held throughout the year in different parts of the country. All master class sessions will be organized in association with The Film School.

LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY MASTER CLASS BY GORAKH BISTA

Landscape Photography Masterclass with Gorakh Bista will be a day-long intensive masterclass on landscape photography by one of the prominent photographer of our times. Gorakh Bista will share his life-long experience in photography, his inspirations and his many travels to remote and far-flung areas of Nepal. Every technical aspect related to landscape photography will be discussed and covered. Born in Nepal, Gorakh learned to appreciate nature from an early age. His free-spirited nature took him to many different terrains of Nepal, where he would live sometimes for several years. Inspired by the beauty of nature, Gorakh captures the very essence of the landscapes that he loves to explore.

The master class will cover areas like:

- Tourism and Nature
- Culture
- Market and Sustainability
- Scope and Skills

DISCUSSIONS

Discussions/talks with industry professionals working extensively in their respective fields will be held throughout the year.

Here's some examples of the kind of topics we will cover this year:

-Building working relations between filmmakers and the business community in Nepal.
-Recognizing replicable production practices undertaken by filmmaking communities in making new films in Nepal and South Asia.
Pame Festival team will produce official video documentation of the discussions.
